I've always wanted to be able to paint semi realistic as well as manga style. I think I'm finally getting nearer to where I want!
Playing with colours once again!
Managed to get my hands on a 3DS, got Kid Icarus too. Its better than I thought! Quite addicted

Do you guys like this style I'm trying to adapt? Please give me your opinions!

Holy love of Souflee, this is absolutely breathtaking! The attention to detail in the clouds is amazing, particuarly with the variations of colours. And Pit himself is painted expertly; he simply looks incredible! Especially with the wings; I love the touches of feathers falling slightly...

I think this is a great style for you (I have another art friend similarly trying to make her style more semi realistic), and you're definitely on the right track for making it work! I look forward to seeing more of it!
